Truck Names!

i've never named my vehicles (only had 2)

 

if anything, the '14 is called "the new truck" and my '89 is called "the old truck"

 

my 4 year old always wants to go for a ride in "the old truck" becuz it's a 2-seater and that means she gets to sit up front with dad... and loves every minute of it!

A friend called it Grey Ghost and so it's the closest I have ever gotten to actually naming any of my vehicles.

I call my GMC the "Jimmy". I remember hearing that as far back as the early sixties.

I never gave my truck a name until I made a build thread on here of me rebuilding it. I did call it the green beast occasionally though.

 

But now I call it Grumpy Ghost. Grumpy cause its old and looks angry. Ghost because a friend and old college roommate says I'm always disappearing with the the truck like a ghost whenever someone needed me to help them out doing "truck stuff".

I have a '74 F100 called Buford (like blue-Ford)

I used to have a red F150 called Harrison (Ford) and one called Robert (Red-Ford)

My 1500 Denali is Ron Burgundy (from Anchorman) because it's Crimson Red.

My wife's Yukon Denali XL is Beast because it's massive...

Pepper as in Red Hot Chile.....don't say it!!! They are the same word, right?

 

I name them all. Trucks, cars and bikes. My Buick is Daisy as in Driving Mrs. Daisy aka "the church car" my head wrench calls it. The Electraglide is Oliver as in Oliver Super 88 for the way it slogs and sounds along Wisconsin back country. We had a Scion iA we called "Angry Bird". Just the way the grill looked. A pair of matching Honda Civics we call Pixy and Dixy. A Honda Shadow Tour we called the "Queen Ann" she was so big.
