Yes, they should fit no problem. Those tires shouldn't be much bigger than stock. I've got 285/75/R16 tires on a 96 and they don't rub.

265/75R16 was factory size on some trucks. This was size on my 97 k1500 with towing package and 3:73 gears. 

 

I currently running 285 70 R17 BFG All terrain k02 on 2012 GMT900 factory wheels. No rubbing at all except when bouncing down dirt roads and cycling front suspension close to bottoming out. Then the tire will grab the inner fender lip. But for around town, highway, and towing no issues.
