2018 Option question

After two weeks, I may have discovered my first dislike with my new truck.*

I do not have lane-keep assist but do have front & back park assist.   In my last truck, I had the notification option of having the seat vibrate as a warning rather than that awful, shrill beeper.  But ithat truck did have the lane-keep option (which I didn’t use).

Am I missing something or is that my only notification option?

*this is my only disappointment so far and it’s pretty much a minor “first world” problem at worst.  A good thing!

I did.   It ain’t there.

do all trucks past a certain point have the seat vibrator mechanism?

If you dont have the Enhanced Driver Alert Package, you don't have a vibrating seat.

Enhanced Driver Alert Package is standard on High Country and available on LT and LTZ. Content includes Forward Collision Alert, Safety Alert Driver Seat, IntelliBeam headlamps with automatic high-beam control, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Front and Rear Park Assist and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking

It's part of a package and can be turned off in settings.

Should be found in settings on the 'radio', under 'Collision/Detection systems'

Alert Type
This feature will set crash alerts to
beeps or seat vibrations. This
setting affects all crash alerts
including Forward Collision, Lane
Departure Warning, and Parking
Assist alerts.
Select Beeps or Safety Alert Seat.

Thanks y’all.  I don’t have enhanced driver alert - just front/rear park assist - and there are no options under “settings/alert type.”

oh well. Got to sell the truck.  Anyone interested?  Only has 700 miles...

kidding.

Think I find it more annoying than anything - too many false alarms - have learned to accept the seat vibrator as a butt massage.  Do reach down and turn off the park assist often...............
