2017 HD ram air hood swap on 17 Chevy (tried searching)

I've found the GMC swap thread, and ways to add the hood to older models.  Anyone familiar with the 2017 HD ram air hood swap to a 2017 Z71?  is it direct swap?  what would I need to do to ensure the ram iair is functional?  i assume a CAI but would the box have to be open at the top where the vent ends?

Silverado HD hood on a 1500 can't be done without a front end swap if that's your question.

I don’t know if that’s really true or not. I’m not sure if you anyone has seen the commercials for the general car insurance with shaq or not, but shaq has a 1500 Silverado he is washing and it looks like the HD Hood is installed on a 1500. I know it’s not a 2500 truck because it does have the 1500 front bumper on it. I’ll see if I can find a pic...maybe I’m wrong but wouldn’t this be the HD hood? ( could only find commercial )

In the attached images note where the bottom edge of the hood changes angle. It would require changing: headlights, grille, bumper, hood.

Doesn't work, Lots of people have already tried.  The GMC hood fits the 1500 GMC, but no luck with the Chevy versions

so the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD hood will fit the 2017 sierra 1500 for sure.

What about putting the duramax good on a 2500 6.0 gasser? That is what I am interested in doing and if so, what about plumbing? I'm more interested in looks than any functionality of the scoop .

I have a 2015   2500hd duramax I want to put a 2017 hood on it and was wondering if it would fit.  Does anybody know if it is a direct  Replacement or does it have to be modified
