Level Kit void warranty?

About 3 weeks I had a set of Bilstein 5100’s installed and set to the highest level. Afterwards I noticed a pop noise when turning at a slow rate on both side time to time. So today I had the shop that installed my bilstein’s check over everything on my truck due to the popping noise I had in the front. They drove it and checked it 3 different times and couldn’t find as issue. I watched them tighten everything and double check everything. I guess it was something already wrong before I got the shocks added, so now I have to hope my extended warranty will cover it workout being voided. I was told by someone that since I added shocks and struts versus just a spacer kit it should’nt void anything. Now I can only hope they cover it ?

I've seen the steering gears go bad after installing level kits.  Have them Hold the gear while turning the wheels and see if they can feel the pop in it.

Had the same problem. Steering gear will need replaced eventually. I had my dealer replace it with no questions asked about the leveling kit under warranty since they sold lifted and leveled trucks new.  Another dealer I went to for oil changes would not warranty it. I put 30k miles with the issue. For that reason, I am not leveling my 2018, although I want to. Only had a 2.5” level on my 2014.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I should have the shocks set to the stock height before I take it into the dealership.

Might not be a bad idea if it’s easy to do.
