JL audio RLC knob. Velcroed bottom and back. I didn’t want to drill holes anywhere ;-)

Just to clarify any bass knob that has thr "phone" cable i refer to as a distortion knob.  It ony boosts the frequency in which the amp is set.  What you want is a pac lc1 knob.  20bucks off amazon

What exactly is this "bass knob" ?  What does it do?

Can you add it to factory Bose system?

A badd knob that comes withthe amp will boost the frequency that the amp is set at. Mostly 45htz

A pac lc1 decreases and increases the signal in easier terms for the whole range

So this is an aftermarket item and not something that can be used with the factory bose amp?

Awesome thanks for sharing! Did you have to remove the bottom panel to run the wire?

just look at those good lookin' bass knobs!!!  bahahahaha!!!

on a serious note - on my old truck i had a bass knob for my system, but it was tucked away by the sub - i found it was pretty much set it and forget it.

do you find that you need to be constantly adjusting the bass level so the need for easy access to the knob?

That's why you're supposed to set your gains with the knob hooked up and turned all the way up.  That way you can only use it to turn the gain down.
