Bob985 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I had the Katzkins installed on my 2018 a few weeks ago and I love them
Jchoi Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I’ve really been pondering this mod during the summer. I’m nervous about the difficulty level. Special tools required?
Bob985 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I had mine installed but I have heard it was not that bad.
ducklawyer Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I had Roadwire installed (same as katzkin). Very pleased with the turnout. It makes me want to get steps since by wife gets out of the truck like she’s going down a water slide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dieselfan1 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I had Katzkins installed in both of my 2018 Silverados. The kits we're $550 each on eBay. I payed an upholstery shop $450 each to install them. They are just as nice as factory leather , maybe even a little nicer.

Was thinking of using Katzkins and going with a two tone setup. I have factory leather and we all know they don’t last a long time. The A pillar grab handle will extend the life but they will still wear out. Do you know if they are compatible with heated and vented seats? I’m sure where you are you’ve got heated seats lol

I'm pretty sure they work with cooled seats too The katzkins are perforated in the center of seating area.
Talbot Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Those look really good. Katskins are on my list of upgrades for my SLE
Likarok Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I had Katskins put on the 2014 sierra reg. cab I had. I loved them to but after 4 years they did start showing wear. But I guess all seats do, leather or cloth. They are a very nice option though to do a quick and drastic change to your interior. And so many color and texture options. One of the best mods I have ever done to a truck!
