Looks clean! Funny I'm looking to do the same exact thing, already did the tinted windows though. And I've been considering the same color wrap.. if you wouldn't mind, could you give a price breakdown of it all? Trying to compare prices and get a good deal.
Sure thing. I said screw the good deal I just wanted it done well so I went to a guy in my are who regularly wraps super cars and show car and wins competitions for his wraps. I brought the truck to him like the day after I bought it to get a quote. He hadn't done any of the new body style yet so he wasn't sure how hard it would be to do the grill and bumper and the original idea was going to be gloss black ($700) on all the chrome except lower bumpers and side steps. Lower bumpers and side steps were gonna be ppf ($500) for protection, all the silver paint changed to Satin Dark Grey ($3800) and finally the fusion+ ceramic coating ($800) on top of all of it. Total $5800 before tax.

Then after he started wrapping he suggested and I agreed that we should wrap the side steps gloss black to match the wheels, the door handles body color and the lower bumpers and the outside comb around the grill body color. Really glad we made that change but we didn't adjust the quote any. You can look up more of his work on his Instagram @xerowraps but unless you're in Hawaii you probably won't be able to go to him.

on the way home The wife says to me "I just have one more thing I want to do to the truck." And I said "what's that, retrax pro bed cover?"
She said "besides that."
I said "window channel vents?"
She said "besides that."
I said "what then?"
She said "An exhaust!"
I'm a lucky guy!

How does it sound? Notice any difference?!

Honestly couldn’t tell that much of a difference, and I had the borla atak installed immediately after so no way to tell now lol, taking it in for re-tune tomorrow morning

Added some shadow gray color matched door protectors from sportwing.  Paint matches perfectly.  Their instructions on mounting are wrong though.  It would have resulted in a seriously crooked install.  I just went with the ridge in the door for alignment.

I finally got a break in the weather and installed my BD Trims tailgate letters.

I think they really compliment the theme and turned out great.

I highly recommend BD Trims.

First post. Purchased new style Sierra in July then went on a TDY for 2 months. Now that I'm home it's time to customize! First things first... Satin Dark Grey vinyl wrap, Gloss Black chrome delete, Fusion+ ceramic coat, and 35% ceramic tint front passenger and driver windows and clear ceramic tint for the windshield. See before and after below.b24fb342efce360ef020d9de900bdf99.jpg355d6b5436ec35e68eaac6b392a83df1.jpgb0e9d4ec02f88673e8fb4bb1b11fd6a6.jpg2139fd97629f623f755e989a47161536.jpgb5f1ef459343f433c1f47d153daf6ac2.jpg17468f72ea6450a76cf9cfc1df864ded.jpg908127af3f3016e6ac7b157aedad74db.jpg97e9c8422b569d3ac087096f18389559.jpg

Okay first of all that looks really really good, so no disrespect in my question at all, but why not just buy a darker gray colored one to begin with?

None taken. Honestly I don't mind the silver at all and it'll probably be an easy color to maintain when the truck gets old helping with resale value, at least that's my thought. On top of that there are only 3 GMC dealers on my island each with maybe 2-3 Sierras at each at any given time. When I went shopping, this was the only one that had all the features I wanted and I felt I had a better bargaining position with something on the lot then ordering custom and then paying for the shipment.

If I had gotten a dark gray it wouldn't be satin dark gray and that paint wouldn't be protected the same way as vinyl protects so I'd have had to wrap it with paint protecting film (PPF) which usually makes the color superglossy. However at the time I didn't know there's a stealth PPF that can turn any paint color kind of a matte. If you're interested in something that like that you can look up Xpel Stealth PPF. Hope I answered your questions.
