I absolutely hate the tow mirrors for the look but the function is probably worth it.

OK....this really sounds totally legit and very worth doing!!!    Now I'm looking into this for mine.   I am a first responder and if I'm at a scene and someone needs something from my truck it's easy to just give them the code.

I'm between thoughts on the mirrors. I like that it makes you look like an hd. But I like how dodge did theirs. Small everyday then up when you need them. I figure wanting the function of the tow mirrors I'm going to lean into the big truck look instead of going street truck style.

Since I was unhappy with the supplied bed lights and lack of being able to turn it on from the back of the truck, I installed a led strip light kit. Ran power from the charging cable on the 7-pin trailer connector.

Looks great, there never enough light when you need it.  Good call on the button placement, they should have put one there.
