No need to follow. This has been solved either by jumping the wires or purchasing a kit from Boost Auto Parts .com.

They have videos at the website that show the installation. There are 2 ways to do this mod. All 6 lights mod or auto on fog light mod.

I am almost positive that auto on fog mod also gets you all 6 lights mod.

Yeah, but the jumper or diode method is better than the Boost Auto method.

For one, it's 100% reversible.

Second, once it's reversed, it doesn't leave two of your truck's wire insulations nicked once the wire taps are removed.

And third, the Boost Auto method is ~$20. Diodes and/or jumper wires are less than a buck...

I've got the Boost Auto fogs on with head lights, fogs on with high beams and bed cargo lamp on with reverse lights. They all work flawlessly.

I don't see the bed cargo light w/ reverse lights on their website? I'd love to get the mirror work lights to operate with the puddle lamps when you lock / unlock the truck at night.

So for the Fogs can you still turn them off/on with the switch on the dash or do they just come on when your lights do and stay on until your lights are off?

I did the auto on fogs with the boost auto connection. I can not turn the fog lights off using the factory fog light switch. But one thing I found was the auto on mod also activated the all 6 lights on mod.

If I really need to turn the fogs off. I can simply unplug the boost connector. I tested it and it defaulted back to normal when unplugged.

So it's really weird. They don't advertise it on their website, however, when I received the part there was 3 stickers on the packaging with links to the installation videos for: 1. Fogs on with high beams. 2. Fogs automatically turn on with lights 3. Cargo Lamp (and the little LED hitch light on the tailgate handle) on with reverse lights. The same parts did all three, so I went ahead and order another two. I can't tell you exactly how it was done due to having a shop install them... you can probably call boost directly. All three mods work flawlessly.

Thanks that won't work.

Has anyone done the 6 light mod, seems you can have the fogs off then they turn on in bright mode. I'm curious if you can then switch the fogs on with the switch when low beams are on.

My goal is to replace the factory fogs with my Baja designs cubes I already have but I don't want to buy the mount for $200 before I know it will work.

Forgive my newbie ignorance all! I’m recently retired from the FD and have decided to start doing more of my work. To jump the 2 pins do I literally just need to stick a wire in the 2 holes and make sure it’s secured? Thanks in advance

I tried that and it did not work for me. Since I already had the Boost auto part on hand, I used it. I am not worried about the connectors staying behind on the wires if I decide to take the jumper off. You really have to look for them to see them.
