Pics of your truck in mud and snow

Recommended Posts

All the pictures of these trucks with lift kits and big knob tires... All shiny ready to parade down the street.

Anybody ever leave the street?

Let's see those tires slinging MUD!

Don't forget the snow too?

Let's see them in some deep snow!

I actually prefer the looks of my ‘18 All-Terrain when it’s a little dirty rather than clean. If it was safe to keep the salty road goop on all winter I would. This is my 1st winter with my ‘18 but my ‘15 went through a few Pittsburgh winters. Not much snow yet this year though.

All I got so far is a dirty tailgate.

How you going to start a thread like this without contributing any pictures of your truck?

Ok I'll play.  What if she still looks like a pavement princess even when offroad? LOL.  I can't afford a show piece and a truck, so, it's an all in one for me!

Thank you sir! And YES! One of my fav vacation spots!!

The truck did really well, better than I thought it would do with the good ol LS2s with around 30k miles at that time.  I almost wanna say it was better than my Avalanche was with KO2s.  I'm guessing its the much higher Torque output from this engine.  I did not attempt test hill with this lol too scared and too much risk haha. I did most of the other hills though.  I believe the steepest hill I did was the one in the picture, "sunset hill" it's pretty steep from the water side.  Going back summer 2019, can't wait. We took our quads for the first time on that trip and rode those way more than our trucks. Was not scared to do test hill on those lol!

This is about as bad as mine will get.....usual winter dirt and firewood....can't afford to break anything. Did have to pull a dump truck out of the mud in my yard after dropping off wood.....yup, it was a Ford.

I had similar feelings, and I tried to get this thread going...

Anyway, here's a couple pictures of my old Canyon

It seems that the majority of fullsize owners who put mud tires on their trucks do so for appearances.  While some do use their trucks off road, it rarely seems like the primary purpose for the truck.

Most people who buy a pickup for offroad will get a Tacoma, or another midsize, like the ZR2.  I had a lot of fun with my Canyon off road, but my K2 Sierra is just so big, and even with a lot of lift, it would not work well on the trails that I took my Canyon down.

Here's my Sierra "rock crawling" (hahahaha) on some Canadian Shield granite.
