OnTheReel Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Think I’m at about 3 months without issue. And 2 years on my 2016 without issue.
AlaskaErik Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I got my reverse LED lights from Amazon for my 2019 LTZ and have had no issues. I have the same lights in my 2016 LTZ and have had no issues with those either. Both sets are 1000 lumens and they make it much easier to see at night when backing up. I think the parasitic drain issue is way overblown. 1

Length of time necessary to kill battery may be dependent upon brand of LED substituted. https://gm-techlink.com/?p=9594 If you get CANBUS compatible LED bulbs you should not have a problem.
carkhz316 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Or just an appropriately sized resistor in parallel, since thats all a "CANBUS" bulb is.

I got a pair and the white end doesn't seem to fit into the socket properly.. it feels to tight and I don't want to force it in or break it.. I’m having the same issue. Purchased the Philips 921 everyone has suggested and cannot get them to fit. The connection appears the same but the round part of the base does not fit into the socket. I’ve applied a lot of force and no luck. Planning to return to amazon. Any other tips here? Insert “how many _____ does it take to change a lightbulb” jokes here. Haha.
jgisonfire Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 I got the ones below and am not aware of any issues. They sure did make it easier to see at night! https://headlightrevolution.com/2019-chevrolet-silverado-1000lm-led-reverse-lights/

dgoins816 Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and ended up going with the LED kit from Lasfit - can't say enough good things about how they've performed. https://www.lasfit.com/collections/led-whole-package-for-chevrolet-silverado/products/2021-chevrolet-silverado-1500-led-bulbs?variant=39510452797619 1
