I picked only TB Trail Boss and only 4x4... plenty at $10k to $12k off. They can't fib on the MSRP, that's set by the factory. What they can try to do is add in extras that you won't need or want such as interior protection. Call them before and tell them you don't want surprises.

Time to call a lawyer and ask about your state’s lemon laws. Absolutely unacceptable.

I have a 2019 Chevy Trail Boss that has under 16,000 miles on it. Bought it brand new in October of 2019. It has had recalls on the brakes, seatbelt, and a couple other things. Radio will get load and come back down, shut off, and not pick up my phone. Chevy is a wear of the radio issue. They just don't know how to fix it. Mine says it was last updated 11/1/1970. Now it is leaking oil everywhere. leaked out at least a quart of oil from under it somewhere in the last 3 days and left puddles of oil wherever I parked it at. No oil on the drain plug or filter. Transmission won't shift down when it gets bogged down going up a hill and hard shift down and sounds like the bed is loose when you hit a dip. Spent 42,000 on a truck I have had nothing but problems with. Not happy with Chevy right now.

It's a TRAIL BOSS 4X4 and I was on a mountain road in the rain!  WTF.   I hear this is an issue with a lot of the 2020 vehicles.  I just got a lawyer.

Man this sucks, my 2020 TB also got hydrolocked.  I have been fighting with GM for a month now, i got the insurance involved and will be seeking legal help if GM does not step to the plate.  I hit a puddle that was literally 3" and hydrolocked my engine, bent a rod and cracked the block.  Now GM is saying its my fault for driving in the rain, sounds crazy but true!  Here is my email so we can exchange info if you'd like.  [email protected]

I bought a 2019 trail boss about a year ago, with 1000 miles already on it.

This month, at 36,500 miles...driving down the road, passanger side upper control arm broke. Didn't hit anything, no pothole, nothing. Had it towed to a shop to get fixed. Picked it up a week later, drove it 26 miles home, on the way to work that night opposite side arm broke. Shop has no idea what happened, and neither do I. Did a whole heap of damage to it when the second one broke. Im 4 grand deep on this issue. So far, have yet to find anyone else with this problem. And no, im not rough on the truck. Welcome to the site.

 

Even though you are 500 miles past 36000, you should still reach out to GM to see if there is anything they will do for you.

Agreed. Surprised the dealership didn't put in for goodwill.

 

Get GM to stand behind their trucks.

The only time I’ve heard of something like this happening is when folks put oversized  level kits and heavy tires. Even then it’s rare. Looks like you have stock suspension and tires. From the pics it looks like the ball joints broke into. The fact that both sides failed within a few days is scary. Have you done any hard off roading in the past that could have damaged them? If not, it  could  have been a bad batch of ball joints or something.
