Winter Returned

So local weather service is saying 4.55 inches town 3 miles west and 4.45 inches town 2 miles east. Nothing here more than 2 inches as of now but still snowing and they say it will for hours yet. Drama Queens.

This one lived up to the hype here. 8” total and another 3-6 expected Friday night - Saturday. I’m highly skeptical of that but we’ll see.

Got another couple inches tonight. Cold week ahead but the long range forecast looks better.

Mid Feb and it finally looks like winter here. Cold too. That was a long fall season.

-11 F as I sit here this morning. -28 F windchill. Same as yesterday and looks like for a few days yet to come.

Snowing, windy, 25 degrees, 2 inches so far.

Windy, dusty and full sun today. Wind in mid 30's.  Gusts exceeding 61 mph.

Rained steady for two days but only laid down an inch. Wind was nuts though. Then we got a dusting of snow on the backside and cold enough to make the house creak a bit. This morning all the snow is gone. Mid teen winds and a bit over freezing. We got off light. Watching the news it was hard to believe it was the same storm system. Eye passed right over us.

We got 2 1/2 inches yesterday, 20 degrees.

We got a quarter inch of rain and 70-80 mph straight line winds last night. This morning it's 57 F and 25-35 sustained, 50 mpg gust. Warning until 5 pm this evening.
