I've got a month at least to continue mowing.  As soon as we get a hard freeze, I'll be picking up leaves from 6 pecan trees

One third I'm mowing and on the eight, shoveling. :crackup:Pavement wasn't cold enough to get it to stick but the grassy areas were. About an inch the weather service says. I'm not seeing but it is cold enough, 29 F

Similar situation. Mowed and chopped the leaves Saturday, had a dusting yesterday and a few inches of lake effect today. Wind chill makes it feel around 15 degrees. Areas closer to Lake Michigan got a foot.

By the weekend we will be back in the upper 50s. Pretty wild.

It’s coming for us but probably in December.

We got snow most of the day yesterday, most of it melted. About an inch overnight. 28 this morning.

Yeah, it shrinks when it's cold. 😁

That’s an improvement for many of us. Sharing for a friend.

Today is supposed to be our last seasonable warm day. 49 the high with light winds. Sitting in the middle of a slow mover low. Then tomorrow the highs for a week in the low 20's introduced with 40-50 mph winds as a polar high pushes through. Batten down he hatches.

Winter storm yesterday. 13”, heavy and wet too. All my equipment was struggling with it except my “EV” EGO snowblower…go figure. Probably should have got out mid storm yesterday instead of letting it pile up for today.IMG_3253.thumb.jpeg.0cb44dec7d050ae219ae3d7f4cac88a3.jpeg

We got about a foot. Wife and I traded all day going out to shovel and try the new TORO power shovel. But the worst of it came today when the county plow did us in twice in under 20 minutes. Jerk waves like he did me a favor.

BTW, the TORO is heavy and awkward to use. BUT it does move snow a long distance from contact. 😉

I know that dilema onthereal. Used to plow with a Honda Rincon. Limited ability on the amount of snow you can push. I did the plow more than once to avoid not being able to push the snow.

It's a weight factor IMO, my Side X Side weighs a ton and pushes snow a lot better. We had a wet snow last year that the ATV would have struggled with. The Side X Side didn't have a problem.
