Removing Rear Block on TB

Recommended Posts

Hello all.

Hoping you guys could help.

I want to level my truck, but I actually want to bring the rear end lower, instead of lifting the front.

If I were to remove the rear block, what would I replace it with to have it level?

Anyone sell them? First time doing this so I could use any help or feedback.

Thanks

Throw in 300# of sand in the box, you will get the level you want, cheaper, easier to install, more traction in the winter and it's easily reversible if you don't like the look!  .02$

There are YouTube videos on the install. All it does is raise where your leaf springs connect, super simple installs are slightly different on each model truck but not hard. Even Amazon sells them doesn’t screw up you suspension.

I suppose you could install the non trail boss lift blocks too.

Aren't the trail boss lift blocks like 1in larger than the others? Though that might not lower it as much as you want.

I dont know if the regular trucks have blocks at all. So removing the block could bring it down 2" instead of one, hopefully someone will chime in.

Thank you. What did you torque them down to? Any pics of your truck after install?

110lb/ft then 100 miles later 120lb/ft. Just a gut feel on that!
