BilStein 5100

Looking at the 2019 Silverado and wondering if the Bilstein 5100 from the 2018 model will fit. Can't seem to find my answer anywhere.

I’m almost 100% sure I’ve seen it on here before that because the 2019 is completely redesigned from the last generation that shock absorbers and other major suspension components are different. 

 

Also I seem to remember reading how people are waiting for Bilstein to make shocks for the T1 which is also a good indicator that 2018 parts won’t fit.

They don't fit according to the shops I've spoken to.  As people have mentioned above, the redesign has all the aftermarket manufacturers re-designing their parts.

Someone verified they do bolt in, but with the Bilstein set at the max lift option it actually dropped the height instead of lifting it.

The rears allegedly do fit. Couple people have put them in their T1s.

I called their engineering office in CA last week.  They said the 5100s would not be released before the first of the year.

If the T1 5100s are anything like 6112's for K2 trucks then don't hold your breathe.

It took 4 years for them to be released after they were initially announced.
