Yes, please share with the rest of us.

I added the downpipe from aFe for more air too.

I first used the scorcher from aFe to tune and it worked okay.

I then reached out to Vengeance Racing in Atlanta. It took about 5 weeks for them to work through everything. I agreed to be the Guinea pig for their work. I paid $2,600 in total for the tuning, Dyno, and transmission calibration work.

I am now running about 29psi over the stock 22psi.

The worst part of it all was having to drive my wife's Subaru outback for 5 weeks.

Could u post pix of the downpipe and a clip of it too? I have the intake with the dry filter and im considering the downpipe as well. What else is done with your exhaust setup?

I have the Borla S-type exhaust with stainless tips.

I wish there was a way to get a 2.7L badge like they have with the 5.3 and 6.2.

I added the black GMC Decals front and back which probably added 5-6 horsepower. ?

I'm laughing at the 2.7L hate.  Considering the pandemic and what was available on the lot, I drove a 5.3 and 2.7L, for my uses (family hauler) the 2.7L is awesome!  I found the trim and price I wanted and I'm happy.  My buddy with a 2019 HEMI full cab 4x4 RAM and I messed around from a light and I took off way quicker than him... only went to 60MPH and obviously he was gaining on me but the 2.7L is fun in the Silverado!

After some more research on how tuning the 2.7 in done it answered my questions.

They do exactly what the Banks Diesel product does on the new L5P's. All it is doing is plugging into various sensors to get the information and it will interrupt the signals to the computer so that is can command more boost because it thinks it's got less than it really does. It just takes time to dial in a program on those handheld things so that it stays within a safe range for boost and fueling.

How so?

That product you talked about plugs into various sensors on the engine to get data from. It then changes the data given to the computer so it can make more boost. Say for example the max PSI before the wastegate opens in 20psi, the computer is going to try and maintain 20psi for max power. That thing can take the 20psi it see's on the sensor and under report it back to the computer saying it's only making 15psi. The turbo will continue to make more boost and open the wastegate by 20psi still but in reality the turbo is pushing 25psi. This is the dumbed down version of how those things work. It just takes a lot of time to write a calibration and make sure everything is working as it should so it doesn't grenade the engine.

As far as I know there is zero other tuning available for the 2.7T engines. Not even EFI Live or HP Tuners has anything on the market for that computer. HP Tuners offers support for the 5.3 and 6.2 engines but because of the encrypted computer it requires a new unlocked computer to do anything on it.
