Belo Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Is awesome. That's it. My first truck in upstate NY with a heated steering wheel and nice to see it offered on the RST/LT mid-level trim. Similar to my 16, it's real nice that the seats and wheel start heating on remote start too. Total game changer and it's still in the 40's! We all like to bitch about the bad and sometimes it's nice to enjoy and praise the good.
BringTheRain403 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I agree. My 14 SLT was my first vehicle with the heated steering wheel. Never again will I have a vehicle without itSent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
ShamrockShooter Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 It is quite possibly the best feature ever. And also the only time I drive with both hands on the steering wheel. If I only had to choose one, I'd go heated steering over heated seats.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
MacLaren Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 What's awesome too, is when ya remote start your truck, and its cold out, the truck will automatically heat both the heated seats and steering wheel. I love it
FishinJ Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I had the heated steering wheel on my 2015 and got to use it a few times a year. Look forward to using it on the new truck some time in January. One of my favorite options even though I don't get to use it much.
Limelight Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I remember first time I saw that button on a steering wheel and thought- what a joke- really? I love the damn thing!
Zrouge1 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 When I bought my 14, I thought how stupid is that. Then one snowy cold morning after a long day/night at work I used it, became a believer. When I bought my 19, that was on the must have list. Now if only I could have the option to have it and not the heated seats come on when I remote start I would be thrilled. Oh well it heats up fast when I get in and turn it on.
BringTheRain403 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 I think you can in the settings?Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
Zrouge1 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 I just looked at the manual, they are linked when remote starting. If that’s my complaint, life is good.
BringTheRain403 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Damn I thought they were separateSent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

I was excited to get the cooled seats- in fact the main reason I went up to LTZ. Now that I have them...Meh- I don’t care for them. I almost always have the back heaters on regardless of the season (I broke my back some years ago) . I should have known better. If I could have cooled bottom and heated back I would be golden!

ChinkySuperman Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 It’s funny I was just telling my coworker about this feature when he asked me about my truck as he’s in the market. Long time ago someone told me about this feature on their new truck and I rolled my eyes and thought, why would anyone want this, now that I have it I too had become a true believer. Being in the Midwest that means we will use it for half of the year as well.
