I picked these 22 denalis locally for $700.
I like the look. I drive 99% pavement.
22 is leaning against the 20s,not installed yet, not till spring time.

The look is preference as I disagree strongly, but I'm ok with 20s on a bigger/ newer half ton.

The ride difference however is noticeable. You ASSume it's extremely minimal, I swapped out Cooper AT3 4s 275/60/r20 (33)tires for Cooper AT3 4s 285/70r17s (32.65) and felt the result justified the cost, it no longer rides harsh. Percentage wise comparing rubber, the difference between 22 and 20 would be almost the same.

If you live somewhere with less than perfect roads like I do, it is noticeably better.

Slower acceleration, worse mpg, worse ride...all for a wheel that I looks goofy and screams I don't use my truck as a truck. Save the big wheels for SUVs.

The look is preference as I disagree strongly, but I'm ok with 20s on a bigger/ newer half ton.

You ASSume it's extremely minimal, I swapped out Cooper AT3 4s 275/60/r20 (33)tires for Cooper AT3 4s 285/70r17s (32.65) and felt the result justified the cost, it no longer rides harsh. Percentage wise comparing rubber, the difference between 22 and 20 would be almost the same.

I don’t ASSume anything. You ASSume the experience I have with this. I’ve run 20s /22s on several trucks so i know from EXPERIENCE the ride difference is minimal.

Slower acceleration, worse mpg, worse ride...all for a wheel that I looks goofy and screams I don't use my truck as a truck. Save the big wheels for SUVs.

"Screams I don't use my truck as a truck" [emoji23] My lowered truck on 22's is a full time service vehicle (money maker). It also tows an 8,000lb 24 foot racecar trailer up and down the East coast. So how do you use your truck "as a truck"?

And I disagree with you as well. I removed 18's for 22's and can't tell any difference in ride and I'm savy on ride quality, vibration, and harshenss. We have good and bad roads here and I'm extremely satisfied with my 285/50/22 Michelins.

And your point? What have you done to your truck? Can you share pics? What's the benefit in lifting a truck 6", putting flat black rattle can looking wheels with agressive Grapplers when the truck never goes off road?
