Must be just north of the border. I just checked the GMC site and built my ordered truck again. The only discount offered is $1,000 for the SLT Premium Plus Package. The $2,000 customer cash incentive is now gone for this month. Same truck now costs $2,000 more. Big difference! Sure hope my truck doesnt come in to at least April now, when hopefully the gas engine incentives will be back.

Looks like my truck should be on the production line as we speak. I am getting pretty excited about it. Next step should be a VIN.

Just read at GM Authority, in an article that GM is building a new L5P parts plant, that mandatory overtime has been implemented at the Flint Plant.

I talked to my original dealer again today around noon PST, at that time the order hadn't updated/changed yet. He is hoping it will by tomorrow morning. He said he had an allocation so there shouldn't be any issues. We'll see...

I also tried to reach out to the sales guy at Laura as well but today was his day off. So tomorrow I hope to get ahold of him to see if we can make something happen with the dealer trade option.

@SilveradoX2 Yeah I bet they have no shortage of work especially with these new HD's.

Thanks Dan, I’m right there with ya haha

I talked with my dealer again on Friday, still no update and order at 1100. He’s thinking this Thursday for sure it should update, he keeps ensuring me he has an allocation to order so should t be any issues.

I spoke with Laura Chevy as well on Saturday I believe. They aren’t necessarily saying they won’t do a dealer trade, but trying to find one closer. The potential option I sent them was about 500 miles away, I thought it was a little closer.

It probably doesn’t help that Laura actually has a truck that at least has all my non-negotiable options. It has 550 miles on it AND a dent in the front bumper but they weren’t willing to negotiate a lower price compared to similar trucks with 0 miles and no damage.

Talked to my original dealer again today, still no update/change (1100). He said he'll check again tomorrow although I'm not betting on it changing.

I asked them if they were aware of any deadlines to place orders for 2020's and he said no there shouldn't be any issues yet and he hasn't heard anything. In another post, someone suspected the last day to order 2020's was 3/5. We'll see what they say tomorrow...

Thanks, yeah would almost be worth waiting but I need the truck by June at the latest.

Found another potential truck, It has everything I need except for the all weather floor liners, so obviously that wouldn't be a deal breaker since that's an easy add. It's a good deal, not Laura good, but good at about $9k off. I'm considering it, gonna think hard. It's 1300 miles away so we'll see. I'm trying not to rush any decisions but also running out of time/options.

Have you considered looking in Canada? The Canadian dollar took a dive this week which means your dollar is worth a lot more up here.
