Keeping black exterior plastic looking black

Other than keeping car wax off the black plastic what are some suggestions for keeping the black plastic looking very black on my new truck?

I use VRP by Chemical Guys. You can't go wrong with applying that on all of the black. It has UV protection as well.

Park in a garage? :dunno: Also rotate the direction it is pointing outside and across all forums I keep hearing 303 Aerospace Protectant is best.

303 Aerospace is great, I'd highly recommend it. Keeps everything looking fresh, without that nasty greasy look.

Ceramic Pro makes a coating for plastics. https://ceramic-pro.com/en/shop/product-line/product/plastic/ It's worked great so far on my truck.

303 Aerospace is the bomb. I have been using it for years. It works on dashboards, exterior plastic trim and tonneau covers.

There are detailers that don't cost $ an ounce that work well.

I have used 303 and it's a good product but to pricey for me.

Does it all and can be diluted to change the shine.

How long does the 303 last? I've used wipe new and it's gone through washes and rain only wore off the door handles after 3 months.

I got hooked on this stuff after I small sample came with my RollNLock Bed Cover, best stuff out there for exterior plastics, rubber and vinyl. I buy my supply of 303 from Marine Supply Stores.

It acts like a conditioner, keeps plastics, rubber and vinyls vibrant like just off the showroom. Lasts a very long time, dash over a year, trim every other wash but that’s to be expected due to car wash soaps & solvents. Very much worth every penny and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Ok well I'll do the wipe new first as it has a stripping agent but last forever on all but hard plastics. Then 303 to condition. Should be a great combo. Thanks!
