Unfortunately, You will need to buy the whole at-4 grille assembly. That trim price can't be bought separately. Then you will need to swap the trim from one grille to the other if you want to maintain the slt grill or just go with the at4 grill.

ok - well I was willing to try the SLT grill with the AT4 trim piece - but if I have to order it all together I can live with that - lol.   I may have missed it - but what is the part # for the whole grill assembly? Appreciate the help!

I was just getting around to Cerakoting my own 2020 3500 finally.  We have been doing them for several months in our shop ... I don't know why they were never color matched!

We’ve seen white and blue on this thread. Black is kinda pointless.

wonder if we’ll see a red one.

I had the nose you speak of painted as well as the grille trim and door handles all for $500. I couldnt find the proper color match wrap for mine. I ended up buying those parts in black for a better paint job. Chrome doesn't paint too well. I can dig up the hood nose part number if needed. If yours is black, and is going to be painted, I wouldn't waste your money buying another. Just remove it and have it painted by another shop that's way more reasonable. It's easy to remove and will only be off the truck for a day. f956a6f854cc1b32592302dd16dca933.jpg

do you know if that lower piece is a separate part of the grill? so can it be taken off and painted rather than masking the grill?

If you mean the piece that's on the sides and below the grille, yes. You need to pull the grille off and then disconnect that piece from the rest of the grille. There are clips on the back of the grille that connect the two together.

good because i am thinking about doing a vinyl wrap on that piece and possibly border around the inner grill parts with the holes. i think ill leave just the face of the grill holes chrome because it may be a real challenge to wrap the entire front of the grill and poke out all the holes to cover the entire thing. i have a black headlight tint vinyl that is a little like clear bra that may hold up better to stones, and it will give the front of the truck a black chrome look on black paint should look pretty snazzy

Thanks for posting the part numbers on this - I ordered the hood nose molding this morning.

I was recently talking with my friend who is a painter and he's going to be painting this for me in Dark Sky Metallic.

Unfortunately, you need to buy the whole handle kit. It would be nice if they just offered the covers only. When installing, just pop the old covers off, and snap on the newly painted covers. In order to replace the entire handle, you would need to remove the interior door panels to get to the plug. That's why I suggest installing the new covers over the existing handle housing.

On the hood nose piece - 84686648 what color black is it? can i just order that part and install it and my truck be good to go. I have a 21 Denali Hd and mine is chrome i wondered if the black one is already painted like the ones on the AT4? Im pretty sure the ones on the at4 are painted onyx black.

    • It wouldn’t have happened if the government hadn’t mandated outrageous fuel mileage standards. It does very little for the consumer. It adds cost. Back during Covid there was a chip shortage. They gave a rebate for your truck if it didn’t have the chip to turn on cylinder deactivation. It was 50$ because at best you may see 1/2 a mile increase per gallon. Splitting hairs each fuel mileage trick wasn’t mandated. The government doesn’t do the engineering work and say use this until it’s already in use and they like it. The fuel mileage was mandated. And those add ons the results. There’s a mandate and they are the results.
    • It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.
    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
