Anyone know of a good soft Tonneau Cover... good quality, easy to remove for lare items and decent price? I am not to big on drilling holes into a nice bed either. Anyone have any ideas? Short bed fleet side 1500

Best I have seen is Access. Installs easy, can remove cover portion easy while leaving side rails. Has lots of adjustment for stretch, bolts on like a topper. Go to the home page of this site, there should be a link as sponsor...Bryce

I used to have a Lund and loved it. Get one with snaps, not one with the rubber strip down the sides. The corners don't stay down as nice as the ones with the snaps. Anyway, good installation, good product and it worked nicely.

Mine is made by Sportmasters I believe. It's been on about 4 years with no major problems except the velcro wearing out. If I had it to do over, I would've gotten some type of modular/panel setup so you only have to lift off 3 panels to get at the bed.

Extang Fulltilt (snapless). java script:emoticon('') (www.extang.com)

I feel that I got the best of it all with this one. I can "unsnap" the edges and roll up the tarp just like a regular soft tonno, but I can also just unlatch the top and lift it up like a hard tonno. And, it's only about 30 pounds, so once you pop the gas lifts, it just pops right off if you need an open bed.

It was about $360 from Summit racing.

I have a Truxedo on my truck and like it alot. Easily adjustable and the velcro seals really tight. Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. No drilling, clamp on rails, really looks sharp. I paid $350 for mine.

I've got an Odyssey tonneau made by LeBra. Mine is like the Lund that Elwood described, it has plastic strips that fit into a channel in the rails and at the corners they don't fit down nicely. (Wish they would have made the rails black insted of plain aluminum  )

Can't complain too much though, found mine last year at a local K-Mart on clearence for $39.75. It's actually for an 88-98 but I couldn't find a major difference between my 01 and a co-workers 95.

If you want pictures of the corners to see the fit let me know and I'll try to get them for you. Good luck on the search.

My son has the Truxedo on his S-10 and it has held up well for about 2 years. We also considered Access but it wasn't available locally and all-black hardware was standard on the Truxedo and extra cost on the Access (at least it was 2 years ago).
