SILVER SLED Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 (edited) There is a lot of unrest with NASCAR even up here (Ohio/Michigan line area). I hear a lot of people say they will no longer watch NASCAR, and with the steep decline in attendance over the last few years, NASCAR could be in trouble. Ironically, there are a few local very low budget dirt tracks around here that have been packing them in as opposed to only a few people in the stands. Now the whole noose publicity stunt.... MaverickZ71 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 (edited) NASCAR (now NOOSECAR?), RP Motorsports, and Bubba Wallace-Smollett owe the few remaining fans, the FBI, the State of Alabama, the Talladega employees, the sponsors, and all of the other teams a HUGE APOLOGY for their #FakeNoose race-baiting publicity stunt, especially during the current national crisis!! Ithan Henry Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 That last lap at Talladega was good racing. Gotta enjoy a race when the finish is that close. Back to back at Pocono this weekend. Hopefully Chase can rebound and get some stage wins.
BigBlueLB756 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 This ought to answer any questions, correct any mis-information, and correct any mis-beliefs about the situation and how it was handled: https://www.jayski.com/2020/06/25/nascar-releases-image-of-noose-found-in-bubba-wallaces-garage-stall/ Now,...…...perhaps we can move on. 2

Colossus Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 NO!! BECAUSE MY CRAPPY COMCRAP CABLE WAS DOWN MOST OF THE DAY!
BigBlueLB756 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 It would suit me just fine if they ran the cupcars on the road course also. Or maybe just add another race there. 1
garagerog Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 I'm looking forward to the All-Star race at Bristol this year. Bristol is always entertaining, but when you bring the All-Star race (aka as Checkers or Wreckers) there, it should make for some interesting racing action! 1
BigBlueLB756 Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Ahhhhh! Yes!!!! Now coming to the road course at DAYTONA!!!!!! Show them sporty-car guys what some real beatin' and bangin' is all about. Can't wait!!!! 1
Ithan Henry Posted July 12, 2020 Author Posted July 12, 2020 That was a great finish to today's race. Nobody was lifting on that last lap. Gotta love some hard racing with a little contact. 2
Ithan Henry Posted July 16, 2020 Author Posted July 16, 2020 Let's go Chase! Big win even if it doesn't carry into the playoffs. Really cool sword he got as a trophy for winning at the Colosseum. 1
