Think next year I'll watch rugby instead.

NASCAR almost lost me with all the stage nonsense. I realize peoples attention span is geared towards more instant gratification. So that was their answer. Football did lose me with the whole disrespect towards the flag. Entertaining and grievance don’t mix. Wrong time and place. You do have to be careful at what offends you though. You’ll find yourself pissed off at the world mumbling to yourself staring out the window. You need an escape from reality for a few hours. The world kinda of a drag a present.

Vindication is sweet; mighty sweet, indeed.

10 wins.

Regular season champion.

Playoff champion.

NASCAR 2021 champion.

#5 Chevrolet driven by Kyle Larson.

And Bubba was first out of today's race.

Amen and amen.

I still prefer nascar. I’d rather see them go back to pre stage racing. I always thought  little E was over promoted. Even though his dad was my favorite. I think bubba is over promoted. He’s going to have to step up now he has a teammate who has talent. It was satisfying seeing who became champion. Even though I would have been just as happy seeing Chase win. A son of a champion with real talent.

It’s been amusing to watch Ross give Denny a taste of his own medicine this year. I don’t have a favorite anymore since 2001. You couldn’t scripted a better ending to that race at Martinsville. Even the winner couldn’t have been more dramatic. With the schedule for next year and driver changes. Nascar could improve it popularity.

What an amazing closing lap move by the watermelon man!  Even the ex-driver commentators were awe-struck. Hamlin focused on the lack of pit road execution in his post race interview but the white as a ghost look on his face was indicative that he still couldn't believe he'd been snookered like that.
