Looking to level my trail boss but have seen issues on here with peoples truck, angles and stuff not being good after a level and parts breaking down the road.

planned on sticking with stock wheels and maybe doing a 1/2” wheel spacer, what size tires can I run without issue once leveled? 35x12.5x18?

Yep, it's safe.  I have an LTZ with the 2" Trailboss lift on it and I added the 1.5" RC level.  Looks good.

And you can't run 1/2" wheel spacers without stud trimming.

I did 1” of a 2” level kit and really like it.  It leaves just a little rake so that a load or trailer doesn’t make the truck nose high!

It’s not the RC, but I have a 2019 LTZ with the trail boss lift and the 1.75” Ready Lift level on there - it came with new upper control arms. It’s been about 6,000 miles and no issues to date.

I would not level a TB/AT4 without new control arms.

Someone recently had a UCA failure with 2.5" (non TB/AT4) either on here or FB.

Could have been a different root cause, but seems the UCA are the weak link when leveling and not worth the risk.

Adding a level to the TB gives me little scare Based on added stress to the complements. Just my opinion from all I’ve read

No you don't.

Well I guess you don’t need to if you don’t mind your balljoint breaking while going down the road and then having to replace other parts along with the UCA.

Your truck, your choice.

Seems like a bit of a stretch.  I've had my front-end apart several times and there is plenty of upper ball joint articulation at all levels of droop and compression.  Rock on.

I didn’t like mine (balljoint angle) and I saw a post where someone’s balljoint broke and required CV axle replacement as a result. Rock on indeed!

GM dealership is doing my RC 2” on my AT4 tomorrow. I’ll get their feedback. According to them since it’s just a level it shouldn’t void any issues with factory equipment. IN fact I had a UCA issue on my 15’ with RC Leveling kit and they handled it. Wasn’t an issue. They did the alignment so they knew it had been done. We’ll see how it goes.

Hmmm, interesting.  Didn't see it on their site.  I have the 1.5" and same here, my dealer put it on with no issues and even said they were going to start putting them on some of their trucks prior to sale.
