Absolutely. I use the wheel/tire cleaning kit from Shine Supply. 10000% would recommend it. Never have it sling and doesn't do an extreme shine. A perfect mix of just black with a lil shine.

Yes! Before a show or after a few rounds of tire shine product, I like to use McKees 37 Tire and Rubber rejuvenator for preparation. As for tire shine, I’ve used many products and still trying the perfect balance on which one I prefer. I will take into account what some of you suggest. Currently using Meguairs Ultimate Insane tire shine. I may try a water base product next time and see how that goes.

I like the look of clean or new tires but shiny tires don't look normal.  Shiny tires remind me of the old shady used car lot scenes found on classic TV.

For you guys using Adams Tire Armor, are you cleaning your tires to the extent they want you to?

Not all the time. Depends how “dirty” the tires are really. Initial coating yes

How long is the coating lasting with normal driving? I've been temped to do this before the winter weather arrives. Anything you don't like about it??

It holds up the best out of anything I have used in the past. My only complaint is the sprayer is crap (clogs) after using a few times even when removing and spraying all product through and cleaning it still gets plugged. I have a few extra sprayers for this or I pour onto an applicator

Good deal...guess i'll order some and give it a shot. I'm not looking for that mirror shine all the time...i'm more of a rich, satin looking guy.

If you apply liberally it will be more satin. The more coats the shinier which is nice you can control va being either or.

Ever notice how every street in every movie/tv show driving scene is wet? That's because it looks better on film.

Just like shiny tires, I think it makes for nice photos but looks cheesy in real life.

I appreciate all of the inputs and opinions.  Like most things, everyone has their own preference, nobody is right or wrong.    Personally, I just tried the extreme shine, makes the truck look a little to “plastic” for me.   I do however like my tires to look black and clean, so next I’m going to try the satin finish and/or the wipe off technique.   A rich black clean uniform color is my goal.

Time to buy some products! Thanks all
