ANOTHER COld Air Intake Thread!

I think I’m leaning to S&B or the new injen intake, I put a magnaflow exhaust on and and I love it too. The borla was a little too hardcore for me and I’m thrifty and the magnaflow I got a good deal on.

I just ordered the Airaid Jr 201-782 kit for my 6.2 Trail Boss. I don’t care about the measly horsepower gain, I just want to get rid of the intake silencing chambers or whatever they’re called so I can hear my engine better. Hopefully it will complement the Borla Touring exhaust I installed, and maybe it’ll slightly mask some of the rattles and ticking noises that this beauty makes haha!

If you want noisy... S&B without adding "the plug" is it.  Old man asked what exhaust I had because it's loudddd

How you liking the touring? Been going back and forth with that one or the stype??

I love the Touring. To me it’s the perfect amount of sound. Cold starts with the 6.2 are still quite loud even though it’s the tamest option from Borla.

As my truck came with the Kooks LTs and Y-pipe, I decided on S&B CAI and left the plug in. It's a pretty tame exhaust note, with the factory exhaust.  The size of that filter is just big enough. lol
