Drove to the hospital for a scheduled test and when I shut the truck off in the parking lot I got notification of an update. Then the radio didn't shut off when I opened the door. I cancelled the update until I got back home in my driveway just in case...

 

The update took a little over 10 minutes and I have no clue what it included. I have not had any issues with the truck other than the radio staying on before I allowed the second update to complete.

 

This is the third update since I bought the truck new.

What AnacortesArmyGuy said but I am curious.. what version are you on now?

 

Not sure about GM stereos but oftentimes with updates, the way you find out it's coming is someone else got it

It's not the same update from a few months ago.  My truck did the prior update a few months ago and just got another update request yesterday.  Based on other people's posts, mine is usually one of the first to receive updates from GM so I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch more people started receiving update requests.

Well, I can only attest to what happened to my truck, and that is the November update is what was applied to my truck last week.  Matter of fact, it's also the only OTA update my truck has applied since I purchased it last July.

Onstar just released a update also. Look at your Settings - About to see what was updated.

Same here, and maybe different trucks get different updates, who knows?

 

I've had my truck for a few days over one year and this was my 3rd update for what its worth, 2nd in the past 3 or 4 months.

I recently got an updatand now my phones will not connect via Bluetooth or USB. This happened a few times prior to the update too but it’s worse now.
Frustrating.

      This is for those over 70 years of age contemplating joint replacement surgery involving general anesthesia. Even some 55 yrs. ago when I took my pharmacology class the dangers of developing dementia in the elderly that had general anesthesia were beginning to be recognized. Over the years there has been some refinement in the cautionary warnings, avoid general anesthesia if possible if you've had close to 10 priors, especially over the age of 70 and/or a family history of dementia. I'm not including the twilight anesthesia induced by propofol often used in cytoscopies or colonscopies. Seriously think about seeing a neurologist and undergo cognitive testing before proceeding if any of those criteria apply to you. Spinal anesthesia may be an option in some cases. I'm in the above camp and although I could use a new right knee, I get fidgety according to a prior orthopedic surgeon when the bone saw spools up or maybe it was the smell of saw blade meeting bone, anyhow I may have one general anesthesia left in me which I will pocket for now and I'm choosing mind over mobility, anyway where did I leave my damn cane!

      First time it really happened to me was when I was 69 yrs old and I was called "Old Timer" by a complete stranger. Then in rapid succession came the aforementioned "Old Man" and my favorite of all "Pops".

      Yea that's pretty normal to be off a few degrees after sitting.  Usually 2-4 degrees from say a weather app or thermometer.  I've seen it a bit more if you are parked facing the sun too when its really hot out.
