Need help identifying this "module" (or whatever it is). It's mounted vertically on the outside of the frame rail, between the two doors on the passenger side. (see images)

 

The purpose for identifying is for relocation. I want to mount a compressor against the frame here and the module is in the way. Was thinking about adding holes to the bracket and attach the module to the bracket after it's mounted.

Would there be any issues mounting this module horizontally, instead of vertically?
