I think repairs are a hit or miss. I had a porsche cayenne that had a minor oil leak. Went to the dealer at least 6 times and it still never got fixed. They even had to take the motor out. Afterwards I had multiple issues with the car, some might have just been a coincidence.

I’m in the process of getting a quote for my truck to be repaired right now for almost the exact same accident. I was rear-ended about 35 mph at a red light same damage to the rear end. Whatever happened with the repair to your truck? Did they end up totaling it? My concern is the same as yours, I don’t know how much I trust my truck being completely disassembled and reassembled.

Lots of times they seem to total these things out now with any frame damage, i dont blame you for not wanting to get back a frame damaged repaired truck, but how will having to go buy a new one at these vastly increased interest rates and msrp prices be for you?

I have wondered this because prices even with some of the incentives they are giving right now, prices are still far above just even a few years ago. Our money is simply becoming worth less and less with every 1/4 that passes and it is no more evident than in the car market the last couple years.
