2021 Chevy RST 4x4 3.0L 4 door crew. During remote start heated wheel comes on but not heated drivers seat? I have it enabled in settings vehicle, but still not coming on, as I said the heated steering wheel comes on fine.?  Also defrost and rear defrost all works as enabled.  Anyone else have any issues?

The seats won't heat up that much when remote starting. They are not going to be that hot when getting in on a cold day. Also when you remote start and then get in the truck and push the start button. You will need to turn the heaters on with the switch on the dash. If not they will cut off and stay off when you push the start button and cancel remote start.

Thanks, the steering wheel feels warm but the seats back and bottom both sides cold, no warmth. actualy the light for the wheel is on when i get in truck but not seats, and as you said when I hit the push start button the wheel goes off, so yes i turn it on and the seats and they get warm then.

On my 21 Sierra SLT my steering wheel and seats are warm after 2-3 minutes, but no lights for the steering wheel or seats are on.

Did you ever find a resolution for this issue?

I have a 22 trail boss and have the same issue since new.  Dealership tells me the seats won't heat up with remote start??

If you have it enabled in settings they wont come on unless it's 40F or lower in the cab but they come on in the low setting then when you hit the start button you have to turn them back on.

I'm researching this issue with my 2017 Sierra SLT too...they have never come on. It is -25, so I'm pretty sure it's cold enough but this has never worked since I bought this truck used. Anybody ever find a solution?

Remote Start Auto Heated and Ventilated Seats

During a remote start, the heated or ventilated seats can be turned on
automatically. When it is cold outside, the heated seats turn on,
and when it is hot outside the ventilated seats turn on. The heated
or ventilated seats are canceled when the ignition is turned on. Press
the heated or ventilated seat button to use the heated or ventilated seats
after the vehicle is started.

The heated or ventilated seat indicator lights do not turn on during a remote start.

The temperature performance of an unoccupied seat may be reduced.
This is normal.

The heated or ventilated seats will not turn on during a remote start unless they are enabled in the vehicle personalization menu.

See Remote Vehicle Start pg 33 and
Vehicle Personalization pg 155.

My 2021 Silverado LT Trail boss has the same problem. The heated seats will not start through the remote start. I have checked and all settings are correct for this to work. I have also checked and no updates showing as needed. I live in the south and never noticed it until after the warranty was out of time. Heated seats through the remote start would have been nice this morning with the temp down to 25.
