I have a 2020 AT4 with 5100 front shocks at 1.1 raise, with the 18" wheels(see Pic) with the factory BF Goodrich tires. The tires have 27500 miles on them and they hum so bad its annoying. (yes I rotate them regularly). I have searched the T1 wheel forum several times, looking for ideas on rims and sizing. So many options and offsets. I have found several styles of rims I like but the offset is confusing for me. At this point I might just find some used 20" AT4 wheels and rims and go with that.

I like the look of the 22" snowflake wheels, but don't like the rough ride and small sidewalls.

Looking at 20x9 wheels. What offset, hell if I know. Do not want wheel spacers. Want wheels close to factory size so I don't have to worry about speed difference. Will call local stealership for recalibration on the wheels.

Rant over, thank you for your time.

Agreed. I do prefer those wheels you pictured (and luckily my Sierra came with them) and did not want to deal with going aftermarket. Just wish the OEM wheels weren't so damn expensive, as it's hard to find a nice set of aftermarket 18s (or even 17s) that don't look all "spokey" or "bolty" all around the wheel edge.

Should be a fun time , don’t be getting frustrated.  Also stock wheels will almost always have a negative offset.  So they don’t stick out.

Every time I get a new rig, I start the search for spare wheels and tires. I check Offerup, Craigslist etc.

The last Chevy I bought had new tires with factory wheels.

I bought:

Chrome aftermarket rims that have a lot of offset, fair tires. ($150)

OEM Steel rims that have Excellent offroad type tires, and 24 lug nuts. ($200 and a bag of ice-melt).

So after buying the vehicle, and buying $400 in extra wheels and tires, I have a total of 16 rims and 16 tires to choose from.

Swap them around, try out different tires/rim configurations, etc.

Its amazing how cheap you can get good wheels and tires if you check online every day, or set up automatic email alerts.

People often spend $2,000 on new rims and tires, and then sell their old ones online for like $100 or $200.

Once I swap the tires and wheels around and find what I like, I sell one or two of the spare sets at a profit.

YEAH! Wheel shopping is one of my least favorite ways to spend money.

OEM quality is hard to beat for the price, though styling can leave a lot to be desired.

FWIW I had 20's on my last truck and it rode like butt, in contrast I'm very happy with 18's and meatier tires now.

The easiest thing to do is search factory take-offs from Craigslist.  There are tons of <1000 mile sets available for cheap.  It's a quick and easy swap.  Many will even buy your old wheels making the cost even cheaper.  And you don't need a speedo recalibration if your overall tire height is the same.  Wheel/Rim size is irrelevant.  Speed comes from Revolutions Per Mile which is dictate by tire height.

GM dealers that do tire and wheel packages...

Tire and wheel shops that do tire and wheel packages...

Some truck accessory shops...

Don't always advertise in autotrader/c'list/crapbook/etc

last set I got was from a truck accessory place.

Take-offs (came with tires and wheel sensors) that still had the nubs on the tires.

Not the tires I wanted so changed them at tire shop
