Just wanted to make a quick post and say hello.

I’m new to the forum but not new to GM trucks. I’m currently on my 3rd GM truck, a 2005 RCSB Silverado with a few tasteful mods… hehe.

I love tinkering and customizing things so they represent my style and taste.

I’m currently “in progress” or in the planning stages of additional truck mods and look forward to sharing progress, asking questions, and probably at some point getting roasted for something stupid.

I added a few pictures of my truck, hope you all enjoy and I’m excited to be part of the forum!

Also, I just realized I botched up my first post. I guess I should have posted this in the Lounge under “New Member Introductions” maybe? lol

Sorry about that, this is why we can’t have nice things…

Welcome to the site. Great looking truck!!!

Had a 04 RCSB, almost same stance. Still was the most fun to drive of any truck I have ever owned.

This one is definitely my favorite to drive as well. With the suspension setup, it gives a really solid feel all around, and I won’t complain about how it goes either being a turbocharged 408… let’s just say, it has plenty of torque before boost. Haha

I’m a fairly new owner so that’s very possible.

Yes they are. I was stuck on the mindset these trucks should have 20” wheels and not any bigger, but I really like the way these 22s fit it.

Welcome!

That is one hottt truck.  I love the factory look under the hood you've got going there with that big ol snail.  Looks like it rolled off the assembly line like that.  The outside is great too, nice clean look yet just the right amount of pop to it with the painted bumpers and the wheels.

If the sticker on the hood is not deceiving me, 6.0 swapped?  Do you have a 4L80 behind it or a super built 4L60/70?

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I removed all the vinyl stickers and need to take some new pics but it is a 6.0 swap.

The truck was originally a 5.3 but now has a 6.0 that's been forged/stroked to a 408, turbo cam, aftermarket heads, etc, etc, etc... lol

It's got a 4L80 with a triple disc billet converter and the 4l80 was a "stage 3" build from a performance tranny shop in Texas.

I'm all about the somewhat sleeper look. No one has any idea what's in it until I push the pedal. Love the reactions I get when all hell breaks loose and it starts making noise.
