At -16F or -27C, forgot to plug the truck in this morning.  2017 4.3.  42k miles. Turns over very slow but started.

Suppose to be -20F here in the morning. I don't have a block heater. 😱

I haven't tried the block heater. Both my 5.3s have started at -29F with no problems.

BTW what temp does it need to be for it to come on?

I thought I read that it won't come on until its 0 F.

One time I had my 93 Silverado 5.7 TBI not start. It was -32. Let it sit and warm up in the sun and it started. A well maintained vehicle will start, just turn over slow as you said.

Yup, -18 Celsius. -0.4 Fahrenheit is what google says.
