the Ram Trucks interior is designed to appeal to your inner metrosexual

I don't like the RAM's vertical screen.  Looks hideous.

Totally and the only reason I’m considering trading up is to get the 3.0 and some other options I skipped out on when I got my ‘19. I’m going to price one out to be built and see what the difference ends up being.

Curious what options you skipped out on your ‘19?

The new interior is nice but I’m not a fan of the new front-end.  I’d be gaining the 10 speed and the new standard safety features if I traded my ‘19 RST in for a ‘22 RST.   The ability to get 360 cameras is nice.

Probably wait for the new 2025 to come out myself.  Really hoping for a Powerboost equivalent (I know, chances are lower than low).

I love the new front end.  Love the larger DRL's and the projector LED's.

I didn’t get a sunroof or the Bose system. I miss not having a sunroof. The other things are minor but if I do move up I’m excited about the 3.0 and 10 speed along with the other things.

My 2019 was a lease.  I'm not turning it in as a lease.  The dealer is buying it.  After the lease is paid I'm making money.  The "good old price days" 8K-10K off MSRP are gone no matter how long you wait.  Every year the MSRP will go up.

I understand your situation.  My mother is doing same thing her 2018 Enclave through lease papers is $27k.  She is going to buy it out in April but KBB and others state it’s worth over $35k.   So she might drive it for a month then trade it in for something new. It only has 29k miles on it and still looks brand new.

I disagree with the big rebates.  They will come back if “WE” as consumers stop

demanding these vehicles. It’s the very simple logic of supply and demand.  Right now there isn’t enough supply to

cover the demand.

I scratch my head wondering how people are paying $10k more for their high countries than mine was 3 years ago. Nothing has changed on them and they don’t come with heated and vented front seats, no heated steering wheel, and no heated rear seats.  Here in Iowa when it’s -27 degrees today.  Plain stupidity!!!

I’m hoping for a supercharged version.  They can call it “Superboost”!!!

I can’t imagine GM not offering some type of hybrid truck/suv.  The whole “all in on electric thing” is a little concerning to me.

Honestly, if you've had good luck with your truck from a reliability perspective, I would keep it until it's either paid off or the powertrain warranty is about to expire and then re-evaluate your situation at that time. My in-laws have an '18 Silverado that falls in the reliable category to date, so they're probably going to keep it 8-10 years like their last Silverado.

If your truck had as many issues as our '21 Silverado that basically has a reserved service bay at our dealer after six unplanned repairs in the first year of ownership, however, then I would say sell ASAP if the current trade value is inflated to the point of having a decent amount of positive equity, or at least sell before the warranty is up. We plan on getting rid of ours within the next year or two at the latest.

If the big rebates do come back, it won't be soon. Demand will always be there. Mfg.s are profitable and people are paying MSRP and if they're paying MSRP now they'll pay later. Just like groceries; retailers see consumers are paying $4.79 for Doritos so, if they're paying now they'll keep paying. No reason to bring it back down. Their excuse will always be their supplies went up so they have to pass the increase on and go up. It's a chain reaction and where does it stop? I wouldn't pay 10k over MSRP. By the time and if big rebates do come back years down the road, the annual MSRP increase would have canceled them out. Who knows though. Just saying.

I usually got 10-12k discounts on leftovers when I bought new trucks. I didn’t catch the mileage on yours. If you can pay sticker or less I’d go for it. I’d check with places like give me the vin or car bingo to see what they’ll give. At least 20K to put down go for it. Buy the extended warranty.

There are just a lot of fat people in the United States!!  And I’m not exaggerating one bit.

Also, I see your point on MSRP but again “WE” have to stop paying those prices.  Manufacturers and dealerships are getting away with it now because “WE” the consumers are giving in. Consumers are Accepting the higher MSRPs without most optional equipment, enticing higher trade in values, and the “hey, I have a shiny new car statues quo”.

My mom’s Enclave was $48k in 2018 and now in 2022 it’s $61k. In 4 years it went up $12k for basically a nip and tuck job on outside and really nothing on inside. Same powertrain. I told her she should just buy the 6 year 100 k warranty bumper to bumper and save thousands of dollars. Hopefully she does that. Thus, keeping the

manufacturers/dealerships from selling at such a ridiculous high price.

Also with this war going on overseas. My money is staying in my savings because $h!t is going to hit the fan and I’m thinking EVERYTHING is going to go even higher. Summer with soaring prices is going to hurt a lot of people!  It’s terrible whats happening.

The salesman I talked to today said the refreshed won't be here until fall.

He also said he sees no change in the near future of day to day operations at his dealer.

In transit don't mean jack shitt..

They never show up.

They had 7 new trucks today. I'm buying one of them Monday morning.

I went to the dealership yesterday and they have about 6 refresh models on order. They wouldn’t deal on my truck unless I bought one of the trucks on the lot so I walked and didn’t bother putting in an order. I may see what they will give me in the summer when there are actual refresh models on the lots they want to deal on.

You can order it and wait though. They say they are coming earlier but I highly doubt it.

You may see a few trickle in this summer but if they do they will be charging at least 5 grand over sticker.

My dealer ordered mine in new Glacier Blue in January. He said the plant shut down and changed tooling.  Production date was scheduled this week. Idk we'll see. So if not, would they send the classic in Glacier Blue? I'll check with him tomorrow.

So, a salesman told you that to sell you something on the lot, go figure🤔😬. I mean, why would he lie to you?
