I heard that on here and also on truck king YouTube channel they had to go see their truck being built in flint because it was a long bed and they live up in Canada.

All my previous trucks were built in Flint, but my '22 & '24 were built in Canada, or at least it stated "Final Destination", which my salesman said that is where they do the spray-in bedliners. No more "Proudly Made In Flint, Michigan" stickers on my doors.

Your salesman was being a salesman and smoothing you over making it seem like it just had a Bedliner sprayed in Canada. Is that was they were trying to say? That’s bogus if so. Flint building flint. Oshawa built at that plant. 
 

he probably lost sales for guys only wanting a truck built here.

I just thought all HD 2500's were built in Flint, but apparently not. I'd rather them be built in Flint, but don't care that it was built in Canada, north of the border better than south of the border...

Really appreciate ya’ll for the knowledge and responsiveness on this site!

 

Had some serious issues with my dealer…didn’t want to let me order one and instead wait to source one in the tri state / surrounding area.

 

Sub optimal communication…like folks have forgotten to simply do what they said they’ll do / when they said they’ll do it.

 

Got lucky and about a month after first dealer visit (mid-JAN)…took custody (today) of this 2500 Ultimate in rush metallic.  Came in from somewhere out of state…built in Flint.

 

Has gooseneck and snow plow package 

 

New blacked out wheels (20 in), tailgate stereo and all weather floor mats installed next week. 
 

May over time…work some other mods but for now…just happy to have replaced the 2007 Tacoma Access Cab after 17 years.

Worked a chrome delete via vinyl wrap and tint. Black wheels go on tomorrow. Some before and after pics. TMR is a great color and I’m real happy with the no chrome look
