2024 rocker panel paint

Does anyone with a 2024 have the rock guard / textured paint on the rocker panels like GM used to do? Did they stop for 2024 or is it on only certain trim or packages?

 Do you have z71? My 24 custom cc in sterling silver does not have it, I wonder if it is a trim level thing

Unless they've made a running production change and eliminated it, all trims get the textured guard paint.

 I guess they must have, my truck does not have textured guard paint was built 7/23 in Oshawa

Yes. It's a 2024 Silverado 3500HD HC with Z71

That would be really dumb if they stopped doing that. My poverty model w/t has it.

Mine has it and I still protected with the clear shield below the mldg and over the texture.  Larger A/T tires are tough on those areas as rocks release from the tread.

I wonder why they didn't add it to mine. I guess it's another one of those supply chain issues. I am curious how many more of the recently built trucks do not have it.

My 2024 GMC AT4 3500 does have the textured paint by the rocker panels.
