Keeps getting better

I asked them to check the ac while it was in the shop for 3 months

they basically refused and blew me off and said if it was blowing cold it was working

when I picked up the truck Friday it was blowing hot air while in parking lot

they drove it around the dealership and then blew cold and they said it was working fine

today same thing , leave lunch sitting in parking lot blowing hot as air

then go to drive away it blows ice cold

immediately took back to dealer and demanded they test ac compressor

it was the low side blowing weak

they are going to replace compressor , I had to get another loaner

help me understand why I constantly have to go over the service advisors head to get anything done

this is an epic failure on all levels

I am glad I didn’t use the same dealership that took care of rear leaking window as when my lifters went…..the window issue was in the shop at least 4 different times most recently the beginning of this year (24) so far I have no major beef with the dealership that did the lifters……I feel ya it’s like talking to a wall, I love absolutely love my truck but at some point something has to give lol……TOYOTA?

Now this compressor is on back order until September

so now we are looking at 5 months without my truck

this is insane

what’s next step ?

create a complaint with gm corporate?

Will that do anything?

I personally would go to a different dealer. You can drive the truck without A/C. I would also open a case with GM customer service.

Just my opinion.
