how the hell does gm think they can wait out the economic troubles.. don't they realize they would be creating a new mid-size market by releasing the colorado on time, I know of at least 10 ppl at my school that want one.

I work at the S10 plant....

GM has announced a 6 month delay in the construction of the facility that will build the Colorado. They are literally going to lock the gate for 6 months and pick it back up this fall. IMO, any money that will be saved by the hiatus, will be nothing compared to the money lost by not producing. Typical knee jerk reaction....

I know I am just one of the little people but the S-10 is getting long in the tooth. I seems to me that GM would do better by producing a new truck. jmho
