2007 SLE DIC Upgrade

I ordered this upgrade this morning...Awesome, can't wait to get it!

 

I installed mine 4 days ago.

I have a 2007 classic wt and have read every post about upgrading the DIC can it be done on the old body style silverados. I was also interested in the comp and temp rear view mirror. any info whould be helpfull.

How difficult was it to remove the head light knob?...I've pulled on it alittle. Seems to be really be on there snug.

How difficult was it to remove the head light knob?...I've pulled on it alittle. Seems to be really be on there snug.

 

I expect my dic any day now!

 

 

The knob stays on. You remove the entire switch from the back side.

The knob stays on. You remove the entire switch from the back side.

 

 

 

So the entire plate comes off without removing any knobs...interesting...way to go GM!! YEA!

REAL trucks come with a DIC. Only wannabe transvestite trucks have one added.

Oil life, yes. Fuel filter, no. I am guessing the fuel filter notification is diesel only.

Guess sooo... I love mine... I am guessing the the 2500 hd trucks came with such feature from the factory... I thought that all the NBS trucks were equipped as well... Guess not,
