I voted for the nittos because they are just as good at the bfg at's but are alot cheaper. I personally like the bfg's because of the white lettering but if you like blacks walls, for sure you have to get the nitto's. On my last truck I had Nitto TG and loved them.

BFG's are the best of these choices IMO. I was not too impressed with them until I went rock crawling with a buddy of mine in his Jeep. These tires are an all around great functional tire. I was planning on some Dick Cepek Fun Country II tires for my next option but I might go back to these old faithful tires. BFGs have been around for a while and I still see tons of them on trucks.

Don't know anything about the Sumitomos, but you can't go wrong with either the Nittos or the BFG's. I have had both and liked them equally. With that said, I voted Nittos because they were cheaper.

I voted for the BFG's since I have the Nitto's and I am going to go with the BFG's when I get to replacing them.

if you dont mind me asking?.. what is your reasoning? is there something u dislike about the nitto's?

One thing I hated about the BFG's was how they threw rocks so bad. Not sure if the Nitto's will be any better, I'll find out this summer.

You thinking you might find the occasional pebble on the highway somewhere or something?

I've had the BFGs on several trucks and they do throw rocks... the open tread picks em up and flings away. Can't say I've ever had anything better made though. Every set wore like iron and took punishment like no other I ever owned. You do pay for them though.

If you want a tire that is 80% of the tire the BFG is but at a much lower price, I love the Firestone Destination ATs I have on my Jeep and my dad's Suburban. They go anywhere and ride like a million bucks.

I have had a very hard time getting the Nitto's to wear properly. I have adjusted the air pressure from 35 psi all the way up the the upper 40-50 psi range and they wore out really quickly. I can't complain about the traction though, I just made a trip in late February from Indiana back to South Carolina and even though the tires have barely any tread left they went though the snow like a champ when I 65 was one lane from Indianapolis to Louisville with 4 to 6 inches of the white stuff covering the road.

i think i'm gonna go with the nitto's... i can get them for a 125 for 265's and 135 for 285's... so i'm not sure what i want to do... i think i want to swap out my wheels too... these factory ones are boring as all get out..

That's a real good price for that size tire. Where are you finding them for at that price? I may have to get another set for that price the BFG's are close to 800 for a set, I would get another set of the Nitto's for 550.

Those OEM wheels might look cool on there.
