I heard you can temp short out w/jumper the ABS for off road applications.

Mine will kick in while low gear, steep down hill braking. The ABS is unwanted while off roading. How,and where is contacts to disable? Thanks

If there is a fuse, you could wire a switch in series with the ABS fuse and could turn it on and of from the cab. I have to believe there is a fuse.

In the engine compartment there's a black box

open it up,there's a bunch of fuses

look for the one that says ABS and pull it,this should dis-arm the ABS.Check to make sure you still have brakes after

brakes should work either way

Good post Grampadirt!

You could easily create an inline switch and use the same fuse. Just make sure you use a relay that is rated for the amp load. DO NOT run a wire in the cab and use a switch on a 60 AMP circuit! You'll melt it and probably cause a fire.

Just pull the fuse and/or the relay from the underhood fuse block, your ABS light will come on, but it will be dissabled, then when done, re-install and go!

I agree with stumpuller just take out the fuse and it will everything that you want it to be, and it is a lot easier than wiring it.

I have to agree as well... If you aren't doing it on a regular basis.
