Before I Wash/bar/wax.. Help! Yes I Used Search.

K, so before I wash, claybar, and wax, I am going to debadge (all but bowtie ) and I also want to paint the bowtie on the front and back BLACK. The one on the back will have the chrome liner around it which in my opinion would look badass. Anyways, i've been searching for a long time on a bunch of different forums and I dont really know which way to paint both of the emblems. Is it possible to paint the emblem on the tailgate? All help is appreciated!!

 

Edit: I might just leave the bowtie on the back normal, paint it black, or make it chrome somehow... what do u think?

Here is how mine turned out. Sorry pics aren't very good quality. I love the way they both look now. I say paint them to match your truck.
