I know alot of people on here like to debadge there truck. That's cool with me, that's what makes car/truck ownership great. Personally I like the badging and wanted something on the tailgate to show it's a 4x4. I don't like that GM doesn't have a 4x4 tailgate emblem so I put my own on. I removed the FlexFuel emblem and replaced it a 4x4 emblem from a 2009 Toyota Tundra.

There you go, take that ol' flex fuel emblem off and put a real man's emblem there. That's how trucks that are 4wd should come(with four wheel drive emblems), not that z71 sticker that doesn't mean anything anymore!

i hate the flex fuel emblem.... the only good part is that you can tell if the truck is an 09 or up if it is green rather then the 07 08 yellow

I like it. looks good! I was thinking of doing this for that stupid flex fuel emblem. How did you take it off?

I used a plastic putty knife. Slid right behind the emblem and just started working it off the truck. No need to heat with a hair dryer or anything. Comes right off. Then use something like goof off to remove the glue left behind from the tape. I used grease and wax remover.

The Toyota emblem is identical in styling to the sierra emblem used by GM. I found mine on ebay for 13 bucks shipped.
