I got tired of the wiring on my boat trailer so I redid it all. Before:

After:

Everything soldered and put in heat shrink. All the connectors on it made me think it would be easier to just strip it all out. Nice to have it done right. All that's left now is to hook up the clearance lights, which I have to drill 3/4" holes for still, lol.

Holy terminals batman...that was a mess. Glad you could clean it up, nice.

The only thing that wasn't working was one turn signal. But I didn't feel like digging through all the crap that was on there, lol. Couldn't believe all the junk. I don't care much for what were basically open wires on something that will be submerged.

I changed my oil and have decided next time I'll be bringing it and the Mobil 1 to my friends shop and have them do it for $10.

KMG they are the stock size LT265 75 R17, but they do look bigger. Not as quite as the Michilans but they seem to work very good in the slop I was in today. :jester:

Short of plain pipe bumpers, all the homemade jobs I've seen weigh a bunch and don't look too pretty. Cutting and coping is done by a machine on most company jobs, and they have jigs for everything. Plus guys who are great at welding lol. Not saying don't do it, just saying time and care will have to go into it to make it eye candy.

Also, I'm kinda done with the diamond tread look. Starting to wish I had gone smooth. Oh and $1500 is too much for a bullnose bumper IMO. But online they will be $$$

Sample pic Chris. But Tough Country is the only manufacturer that I have talked to in the past that will do the body lift modification on the brackets. No other company will do it. I believe that Frontier Gear has a nice bull nose bumper for half the cost but no body mod

I did out up a thread a couple years back about which bumper to get but now that I have a body lift it kind of limits me to what I can get unless I use the body lift brackets. Which then there goes all the strength
