What did you do with your truck/shop today

I'm pretty sure it just came out around November and I've only seen it at one advanced auto parts store so it's probably not all to popular

 

 

Well we have an Advance Auto right up the road from Autozone. I guess I'll check over there. If that one doesn't have any there is one more I can check out. Hopefully someone around here has it.

Last time I bought transfer case fluid, I found out that O'Reilly's now carries the AC Delco Auto Trak II fluid. Saved a couple of bucks per bottle over dealership prices.

Wish I had an oreillys around here. Got napa, advanced auto, auto zone, car quest, and then pep boys. Also a handful of small locally owned parts stores (those are the best and most knowledgeable IMO)

Ha! We have Autozone, Advance Auto, and Napa. That's it. lol!

Or could it be the AC Delco belts are just junk.

 

Had a Dayco belt on for a real long time.

Changed a tail light plug for a buddy. Cracked tail light led to corrosion in the connector in his 08 trailblazer

 

Next up is his hood the cable broke anyone have any clue how to open?

For that hood latch - not sure if this will work on these new ones, but on the 80's trucks you could see where the cable terminated in the latch, and stuff a long flat screwdriver up and force it toward the driver's side. Sometimes a second guy to pound on the hood while you did this, and it would pop. Had to do it so many times I lost count. I repaired the cable using pure copper electrical butt connectors.
