How did you fix the trim? My dad's '06 has the white trim too that's now a pinkish orange and I don't know what to do, short of replacing it.

I kinda got to the same point. So I decided that I would pick up some paint, primer, clear and some tape from a parts house (auto zone in this case) and try painting it.

 

I figured worst case is it turned out like crap and it already looked like crap to start.

I left them on. With the way they are adhered it was easy to tape the off really well and not get anything on the door. I did get a little overspray in some areas, but I keep the truck waxed enough that a clay bar took it right off.

I called a shop today for a quote on replacing my rear window. I think they were on some really good stuff. They wanted $436 to replace it with a one piece tinted window. They claimed the rear seat, and headliner have to come out. Not sure on that one?

 

So I got a hold of Safelite and they quoted me at $218. Needless to say I'll be going with them.

Detailed my interior. It looks nice.

 

My little truck on my nave screen was doing loopy loops on the way to Wendy's tonight, and that was buggin me, so I polished the dash sensor for grins, the already clean windshield above it, and the sensor lookin thing on the back of the mirror with the microfiber cloth that came with the truck (WOW that thing is great!).

 

Then I turned off the screen and drove east of town for a good 10 miles.

 

Then I turned around, stopped on the road, and turned it back on.

 

Fixed it!

 

Then I went and got a Blizzard.

 

Then I got gas.

 

And that's the 5 year old version of what I did with my truck today.
