That's why I have my buddy who loves working on powerstrokes, mainly 6.0's, but he said he'd help me if I got a 6.7

Haha! I know that feeling. Every time I bought a new truck I wanted the 6.0L. Then when I bought my last brand new truck I made sure I got the 6.2L. Then I ended up trading the damn thing anyway! Edited by Daryl Z71

Still want an LBZ, maybe one day when they all have 500k miles on them and I can finally afford one as a second vehicle haha then, and only then will I be allowed to rejoin the cool kids club

Picked the truck up from the dealership today as they finished it. Got the 8 speed stator replacement tsb completed and so far so good. Much smoother shifting at low speed without clunk and hesitation that I honestly became used too. Also does not have the big delay when you shift it into gear anymore which is a huge change I enjoy. I will crawl under it when I get a chance and poke around as they had to pull the trans out of the truck to do this job. Plus I have to yank the intake manifold off and clean all the dirt out of it. .. and find a replacement lid for my airbox. The joys lol.

Next time i do this, it eill be with an 80e and custom carbon fiber one piece driveshaft.

Airaid MIT tube was sitting at the front door when I got home for lunch. Putting that on after work. Now if Black Bear could just hurry up and come to Indy. :ughdance:

Converter bolts were a bitch and a half. Apparently im lowering the stall speed since i was still using a 4.8 converter.

Actually, I bought my first GMC today!! 2002 2500 Sierra Crew Cab 4x4!!

 

I'm gonna love this truck!!!!
